This notice covers the flipandlearn.app website — specifically, the form on the home page where you can sign up to be notified when the Android version of Flip & Learn launches.

When you submit the Android-launch sign-up form, we receive:
That is the entire dataset. We don't track you across pages, we don't use cookies for analytics, and we don't store your IP address.
One single purpose: to send you a single email when the Android version of Flip & Learn becomes available on Google Play.
We don't add you to a newsletter, we don't send marketing, and we don't use your email for anything else.
The list lives in a private Google Sheet that only the Flip & Learn developer can access. Google acts as a data processor here; the data sits on Google Workspace servers, which are EU-compliant.
The list is never sold, never shared with advertisers, and never made available to anyone outside Flip & Learn.
Until the Android launch email has been sent, plus a short window in case of bounces. After that — within 30 days of the launch announcement — the entire list is deleted.
If you submit your email and then change your mind before the launch email goes out, you can ask us to delete it sooner (see below).

The legal basis for collecting your email is your consent — the act of submitting the form. You can withdraw that consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, just write to support@flipandlearn.app.
If you live in the EU, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. In Germany (where Flip & Learn is based), that's the Bundesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz or your state-level equivalent.
This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookieless analytics service that counts page views, referrers, and country information. No cookies are set, no personal data is collected, and no individual visitors are tracked across sessions.
We use Google Ads conversion tracking to measure how well our ads on Google perform — specifically, whether someone who clicked an ad later landed on flipandlearn.app. Google is the data processor for this; it is governed by Google's privacy policy.
When active, the Google Ads tag (gtag.js, tag ID AW-18076192122) sets first-party cookies such as _gcl_au on flipandlearn.app and may send to Google: your IP address, browser type, the page you landed on, the referring ad click ID, and a randomly-generated cookie identifier. It does not collect your name, email, or any other directly identifying information.
Consent-gated: The Google Ads tag is blocked by default on first visit. It loads only after you click "Accept" on the cookie banner. If you click "Reject" or simply close the page without choosing, no Google cookies are set and no data is sent to Google.
How to withdraw consent: Click "Cookie settings" in the page footer at any time to reopen the banner and switch your choice. Withdrawal takes effect immediately — your stored preference flips to "rejected" and the Google tag will not load on subsequent page loads. Cookies already set by Google can be cleared from your browser's cookie settings.
The site also uses one essential first-party preference (fl_consent) to remember your cookie choice, and one essential first-party preference (flipandlearn_lang) to remember your language pick. These two are necessary for the site to function and are not used for tracking.
If we change how the website collects data, we'll update this page and bump the "Last updated" date at the top.
