Six coloring page with letter tracing for SIX and SECHS

About this sheet

Six apples stand in three rows of two next to a large 6. Beneath them are SECHS and SIX. The German word Sechs begins with a buzzing sound, like an English Z, even though it is spelled with S. S also opens the English word.

Tracing tips for these letters

SECHS has an S at each end and each one is a single, direction-changing stroke, so this word offers two tries. X in SIX is two separate diagonal lines: the first from the top left, the second from the top right. C flows in one stroke. There are no arrows on the big digit. If your child wants to write a 6 on spare paper, one option is a long curve from the top down into a small loop.

Ways to use it with your child

Print at 100 percent with no scaling, so the tracing letters come out at the size they were drawn for. Black and white is fine.
